Job Overview:

The Family Law Associate Attorney will handle a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and adoption cases. They will work closely with clients to provide legal advice and representation, while also collaborating with senior attorneys and legal staff.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and adoption cases.
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings and mediation sessions.

  • Stay updated on changes in family law statutes and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Oregon Bar membership; Washington Bar membership is a plus.
  • 0-5 years of experience in family law.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Oregon Bar; Washington Bar admission is a plus.
