Landlord-Tenant Litigation Associate

A law firm seeks a Landlord-Tenant Litigation Associate in Rockville Centre, New York, to represent landlords and property managers before housing courts and related administrative and plenary proceedings.

Duties

• Appear daily in NYC Housing Court across all boroughs and handle plenary actions and administrative hearings.

• Conduct trials, hearings, and motion practice, including drafting and arguing dispositive motions.

• Perform legal research and draft briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.

• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategy and manage dockets.

Requirements

• Admitted to the New York State Bar with at least two years of post-admission litigation experience.

• Demonstrated experience representing landlords or property managers in housing disputes.

• Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities.

• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Active membership in the New York State Bar.
