Location

Duties

  • Manage a caseload of federal civil litigation matters from inception through resolution

  • Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery responses

  • Represent clients in federal court hearings, conferences, and trials

  • Advise financial institution clients on litigation strategy and risk management

  • Ensure compliance with all federal procedural rules and deadlines

  • Coordinate with legal teams across multiple jurisdictions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of federal civil litigation experience

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York

  • Proficiency with federal court rules and individual judge part requirements

  • Strong writing, legal research, and courtroom advocacy skills

  • Ability to manage cases independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

  • Prior experience in creditors’ rights or financial services litigation preferred

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in New York

  • Admission to multiple federal courts preferred
