Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Danville, CA, is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 0-5 years of experience. The candidate must have Bar admission and will be responsible for representing clients in various litigation matters.

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation proceedings, including trials, hearings, and motions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case arguments.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Attend court appearances and argue motions on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on case strategy.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress and discuss strategy.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation sessions.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions and witness interviews.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 0-5 years of experience in litigation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
