Job Overview

A law firm seeks an attorney with three to five years of experience in real estate, finance, and land use matters to join its team in Portland, Oregon. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with potential for fully remote options.

Duties

• Assist clients with drafting and negotiating debt and security documents.
• Manage purchase and sale agreements, title reports, and due diligence.
• Oversee escrow closings and commercial secured transactions.
• Handle land use applications, including comprehensive plan amendments and rezones.
• Work with financial institutions on commercial lending and leasing.

Requirements

• Membership in the Oregon State Bar is required.
• Membership in the Washington State Bar or California State Bar is a plus.
• Experience with real estate acquisition and finance is necessary.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Oregon State Bar.
