Job Title: Business Transaction Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A Dallas-based law firm is seeking a dedicated and bilingual associate attorney with a focus on business transactions. This role is ideal for a mid-level legal professional with strong experience in corporate matters, mergers & acquisitions, and commercial contract work. The position offers a hybrid work model and emphasizes collaborative teamwork, cross-border communication, and strategic client counseling, particularly within the Korean-speaking business community.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of business agreements, including:

    • Asset and equity purchase agreements

    • Commercial leases and service contracts

    • Operating and partnership agreements

  • Offer strategic advice on general corporate law matters and occasional employment-related concerns

  • Support resolution of contract disputes, partnership disagreements, and consumer protection matters

  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to meet client objectives

  • Conduct legal research and prepare written memoranda to support business decisions

  • Maintain direct and effective communication with clients and counterparties

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in business law, M&A, and corporate transactions

  • Fluency in Korean and English (speaking, reading, and writing)

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a collaborative setting

  • Strong writing, research, and analytical abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related tools

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Texas

Skills:

  • Bilingual communication skills (Korean/English)

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving acumen

  • Client-facing professionalism and interpersonal confidence

  • Organizational efficiency with task prioritization

  • Technological proficiency for document management and legal research

Job Location:

  • Dallas, TX

  • Hybrid schedule: Onsite four days a week, remote one day (after probationary period)
