Domestic Relations/Family Law Attorney

A well-established law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 3–7 years of experience to join its Hackensack, NJ office. This full-time position involves handling a broad range of domestic relations matters including complex divorces, contested custody cases, and financial support disputes. Location:

• Hackensack, New Jersey

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and property division

• Manage complex domestic relations cases from intake through resolution

• Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings

• Conduct discovery, depositions, and negotiations

• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and case management conferences

• Maintain regular communication with clients and opposing counsel

• Advise clients on legal strategy and potential outcomes

Requirements:

• 3–7 years of experience in family law/domestic relations

• Demonstrated ability to handle contested matters independently

• Strong knowledge of New Jersey family law statutes and procedures

• Experience with high-conflict or high-asset divorce cases preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in New Jersey (required)

• Active license to practice law in New York (required)
