Senior Associate needed for Glendale office

Job Overview:
A mid-sized, AV-Preeminent litigation firm in Glendale is seeking both Associate and Senior Associate Attorneys to join its dynamic litigation team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of matters, including personal injury, insurance defense, toxic torts, and complex civil litigation. Ideal candidates will bring strong litigation experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to case management.

Location:

• Glendale, California

Duties:

• Manage a caseload involving personal injury, insurance defense, and complex litigation matters

• Conduct factual investigations and analyze legal issues

• Propound and respond to discovery requests

• Draft and file pleadings and motions

• Prepare for and conduct depositions

• Attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

• Prepare for trial and attend as first or second chair

• Maintain client communication and provide detailed reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general civil litigation

• Prior experience in insurance defense, personal injury, toxic torts, or trial work preferred

• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills

• Effective written and verbal communication abilities

• Proven litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills

• Highly organized with excellent time management

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable managing full case responsibilities from intake through resolution
