As a key member of this firm, the attorney will handle all aspects of workers' compensation litigation, from case initiation through to resolution, and become a valuable part of a well-regarded team.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation defense matters throughout California.

  • Manage a caseload involving the initiation, litigation, and resolution of workers' compensation cases.

  • Provide legal guidance and strategic advice to insurance companies, third-party administrators, and employers.

  • Prepare legal documents, including motions, briefs, and settlement proposals.

  • Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as required.

  • Work closely with clients to develop case strategies and provide timely updates.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure the successful resolution of cases.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

  • Proven experience in workers' compensation defense litigation.

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage a high caseload effectively and efficiently.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively in various legal settings.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • California State Bar membership is required.
