Bodily Injury/Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a Bodily Injury/Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in personal injury and insurance defense, with a strong ability to think critically and utilize analytical skills to support client defense.

Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to bodily injury and insurance defense cases.
• Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and relevance to cases.
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses, experts, and parties involved in litigation.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients.
• Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw to support case arguments and strategies.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in personal injury and insurance defense law.
• Superior research and writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to think critically and utilize analytical skills to analyze complex legal issues.
• Experience with bodily injury cases preferred.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Skills:

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and pleadings.
• Strong analytical skills to assess case facts and develop defense strategies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
