Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly skilled Insurance Coverage Attorney to join their legal team in Florida. The role involves evaluating insurance policies, investigating claims, and preparing coverage opinions. The attorney will also handle declaratory judgment actions and prepare reservation of rights letters in accordance with the Florida Claims Administration Statute.

Duties

• Provide legal advice on insurance policy contracts.
• Conduct legal research to support client cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including insurance contracts and motions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and depositions.
• Communicate complex legal issues to various stakeholders.
• Collaborate on case strategies and support complex legal issues.
• Maintain accurate case files and documentation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the state bar association and in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures.
• Proficient in legal research tools like Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
• Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents.
• Strong research skills for analyzing complex legal issues.
• Experience in insurance coverage litigation is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the state bar association and in good standing.
