Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role offers a hybrid working pattern, allowing for both in-office and remote work. The firm is looking for a motivated attorney with a strong background in insurance coverage and litigation.

Duties

  • Analyze coverage issues and draft coverage opinions.
  • Prepare pleadings and dispositive motions.
  • Conduct discovery in insurance coverage litigation.
  • Participate in depositions and court conferences.
  • Argue motions as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of relevant coverage experience.
  • Strong litigation background required.
  • Experience with bad faith claims preferred.
  • Admitted and in good standing in the state of Florida; additional state admissions are a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in Florida.
