The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Medicare Reimbursement Appeals and Litigation, particularly before the Provider Reimbursement Review Board (PRRB), along with a strong background in related payment and policy matters.

 

Job Details:

  • Handle Medicare Reimbursement Appeals and Litigation, focusing on payment and policy matters.
  • Provide legal assistance and guidance to healthcare providers in developing Medicare administrative appeals and compliance strategies.
  • Represent hospitals and other healthcare providers in payment disputes before the PRRB and in court.
  • Counsel health systems, hospital associations, and individual providers on regulatory changes and reimbursement issues.
  • Analyze reimbursement issues affecting healthcare organizations and provide strategic advice.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Indiana.
  • Demonstrated experience in Medicare Reimbursement Appeals and Litigation, with a focus on PRRB proceedings.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare payment regulations and policies.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
