Job Overview

A law firm seeks an early career attorney in Birmingham, AL. This role involves managing a high-volume caseload, engaging with clients, and advocating in trials. The attorney will work closely with senior leadership to support significant cases and ensure client satisfaction.

Duties

  • Manage approximately 150 cases, with 50 in active litigation monthly.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the legal process.
  • Conduct depositions, draft motions, and lead mediations.
  • Serve as lead counsel in jury trials to secure favorable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Alabama.
  • Trial advocacy and/or moot court experience preferred.
  • Active and in good standing with the local State Bar.
  • Multiple state bar admissions preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed attorney in Alabama.

Skills

  • Strong legal acumen and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
  • Proficient in developing comprehensive case strategies.
