A law firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with a strong background in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm, and possess a science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology). Responsibilities include collaborating with experts, assisting in fact development and depositions, drafting legal documents, and contributing to case strategy. Superior research, analytical, and writing skills are essential, with experience in product liability and the pharmaceutical and medical device industry considered advantageous.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with experts to develop effective case strategies.
  • Assist in fact development and deposition preparation.
  • Review, analyze, and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Contribute to case strategy discussions and planning.
  • Conduct legal research on relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
  • Science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) required.
  • J.D. from a nationally recognized law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the State of Maryland.
  • Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in Maryland.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
