Bankruptcy Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney to manage and maintain case dockets, oversee a high volume of bankruptcy cases in either the Western District or Northern District of Texas, conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, represent clients in court proceedings, and collaborate with internal teams.

Duties:

• Manage and maintain case dockets, ensuring timely filings and accurate documentation.
• Oversee a high volume of bankruptcy cases in either the Western District or Northern District of Texas.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents for court filings.
• Represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings, including hearings and motions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective case management and client communication.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas with specific experience in bankruptcy law.
• Should have 3 years of experience. 
• Experience managing a high volume of bankruptcy cases is essential.
• Familiarity with the local rules and procedures of either the Western District or Northern District of Texas.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
