Location:

Duties:

  • Represent federal employees in a range of employment-related legal matters

  • Provide legal counsel and develop strategies in cases involving EEO, MSPB, OPM Disability, Civilian Veterans Affairs, and Social Security Disability

  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

  • Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and administrative hearings

  • Manage caseloads independently and maintain communication with clients

  • Stay current on relevant laws and federal agency procedures

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of legal experience, with a focus on labor and employment law

  • Demonstrated experience in federal employment legal matters

  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills

  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid or remote setting

  • Excellent legal research and writing capabilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • Eligible for admission to relevant federal courts or administrative bodies

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of EEO processes, OPM Disability, MSPB procedures, and federal employment regulations

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a client-focused environment

  • Proficiency with legal research databases and case management tools
