Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Executive Compensation and ERISA Associate to join its team in New York or Washington, DC. The role focuses on advising clients on executive compensation matters within transactional contexts and handling ERISA-related issues.

Duties

  • Advise on executive compensation aspects of corporate transactions.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other transactional matters involving compensation and benefits.
  • Provide guidance on ERISA compliance and related regulatory considerations.
  • Draft and review compensation and benefits-related agreements and documentation.
  • Collaborate with deal teams and clients to address compensation structuring and compliance issues.

Requirements

  • Associate with relevant experience corresponding to class years 2020 to 2023.
  • Experience in transactional executive compensation matters.
  • Familiarity with ERISA and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York or Washington, DC Bar, or eligibility to obtain admission.
