A law firm is seeking a Trust and Estates Associate Attorney to join their team in Roseland, NJ.

Job Overview:

The Trust and Estates Associate Attorney will support senior attorneys with comprehensive estate planning and administration. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of broad experience in this field.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement effective estate planning strategies.
  • Manage and administer trusts, wills, and estates by legal guidelines.
  • Conduct legal research to stay informed about changes in trust and estate laws.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide legal advice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience supporting senior attorneys in estate planning and administration.
  • Admission to the NJ Bar is mandatory.
  • Admission to the NY Bar is a plus.
  • LL.M. in Taxation is an additional advantage.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar.

Skills:
