Job Details:

  • Complete tasks efficiently and manage matters from commencement to final resolution.
  • Communicate competently and professionally with clients and supervising attorneys.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of prior associate-level experience in general commercial litigation.
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new substantive legal topics as needed.
  • Knowledge of federal and state court practice, including experience preparing answers, motions, and other routine filings.
  • Experience handling hearings and depositions.
  • Willingness to assist with both commercial litigation and insolvency matters.
  • Significant case management experience.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in Wisconsin.

Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organization and matter management skills.
  • Ability to work professionally and effectively with clients, partners, associates, and support staff.
  • Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with and ability to prepare basic and complex litigation documents.
  • Familiarity with federal and state court procedural rules and practices.

  • Strong negotiating skills.
