A law firm seeks a full-time associate attorney to join its vibrant labor and employment litigation team in Seattle, WA.

Duties

  • Advocate on behalf of union members and labor organizations in grievance proceedings and collective-bargaining disputes

  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and administrative complaints

  • Conduct discovery, including drafting interrogatories, reviewing documents, and taking depositions

  • Represent clients at hearings before arbitrators, administrative agencies, and courts

  • Counsel clients on contract interpretation, workplace investigations, and compliance with labor statutes

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and motion practice

Requirements

  • Admission to the Washington State Bar (or eligibility to sit for the next examination)

  • Outstanding academic credentials and law school performance

  • Demonstrated dedication to social justice and labor-movement causes

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities

  • Excellent oral advocacy and interpersonal communication skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Washington State Bar admission (or pending)
