Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Deerfield Beach, FL, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to efficiently manage cases in a volume practice, with a focus on handling foreclosure bench trials. The candidate will regularly handle court appearances, depositions, mediations, and trials, provide status reports to clients, draft legal documents, and prepare cases for trial.

Duties:

• Efficiently manage cases in a volume practice environment.
• Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Provide clients with status reports regarding pending cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, orders, and subpoenas.
• Prepare cases for trial and attend bench trials either remotely or in-person.
• Be willing to travel as needed.

Requirements:

• Trial experience is preferred.
• A background in foreclosure law is preferred, but other relevant legal experience will be considered.
• Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Florida Bar Member in good standing.
