Senior Family Law Attorney

San Jose office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior family law attorney with 7+ years of experience. The candidate will work directly with the owner and other attorneys to support the team and help the clients. Work directly with clients to start their divorce and move them through the court system as quickly as possible. Reach out to clients to gather factual information and determine what they need to protect their rights and prosecute their cases efficiently. Prepare the standard family law documents, propound, and respond to discovery, conduct and defend depositions, and be prepared to take the client's case to trial if necessary.

The candidate should be able to manage large caseloads. Must be able to independently handle decision-making on a case-by-case basis. Should be able to regularly consult with clients and other parties as needed. Must be able to develop a strategic approach and provide leadership and direction to paralegals and legal assistants. The ability to build client cases and ensure all communication is documented and relayed to the client is required.
