Associate Attorney needed for Phoenix office

A law firm in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience in medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, insurance coverage, or commercial litigation. The ideal candidate must be admitted to the Arizona Bar and possess excellent academic credentials, as well as strong writing and verbal skills.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, insurance coverage, or commercial litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Manage case files, including organizing documents, scheduling deadlines, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Arizona Bar.
• 1-5 years of experience in medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, insurance coverage, or commercial litigation.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Arizona Bar.
