Patent Agent

The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting and prosecuting patent applications, responding to office actions, assisting in the preparation of opinions, and conducting prior art searches in immunotherapy, gene therapy, cell therapy, and related fields.

Duties:

• Draft and prosecute patent applications in the immunology and molecular biology therapeutic space.
• Respond to office actions regarding patent applications.
• Assist in preparing opinions related to patentability, validity, and infringement.
• Conduct prior art searches in immunotherapy, gene therapy, cell therapy, and related fields.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop patent strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Patent Agent prosecuting patents in immunology and molecular biology therapeutic space.
• Ph.D. in Immunology or Virology.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Admission to practice before the USPTO.
