Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Labor Transactions Associate for its New York office. This role involves working on complex transactions with leading practitioners, contributing to a strategically important practice within the firm.

Duties

• Advise on labor and employment aspects of corporate transactions.
• Conduct labor and employment diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
• Draft and negotiate transaction-related provisions.
• Assess and manage workforce-related risks and integration issues.
• Collaborate with deal teams and interact with clients and advisors.

Requirements

• Admitted to the bar and in good standing in the state of practice.
• 1-3 years of experience in labor and employment issues related to transactions.
• Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with M&A, private equity, or restructuring matters.
• Availability to work in person and comply with firm policies.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of practice.
