A law firm in Denver is seeking an Energy Associate Attorney with 0-5 years of experience for its energy mineral title and division order practice. The ideal candidate should have experience commensurate with time in practice and possess strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and legal teams. General property and/or mineral title experience in the energy sector is preferred.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct title examination and due diligence for energy-related properties.
  • Draft and review title opinions, lease agreements, and division orders.
  • Assist with negotiations and transactions related to energy property acquisitions and divestitures.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on energy-related matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and legal teams.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • 0-5 years of experience in energy law, with a focus on mineral title and division order practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent academic record.
  • Outstanding writing and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and colleagues.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Any relevant certifications in energy law or mineral title practice (if applicable).
