A law firm is seeking a Negligence Plaintiff Attorney with the following responsibilities, qualifications, and benefits:

Job Overview:

The Negligence Plaintiff Attorney will be responsible for handling a full caseload of Negligence cases, from inception to resolution, while maintaining exceptional client interaction throughout the legal process.

Job Details:

  • Handle a full caseload of Negligence cases, from opening new files to creating litigation plans
  • Autonomously manage a large volume of files, ensuring timely and efficient handling
  • Conduct thorough reviews of incoming correspondence and medical records
  • Engage in discovery processes, make court appearances, and actively participate in trials
  • Maintain exceptional client interaction throughout the legal process
  • Travel to various commissions, courts, and conferences as needed

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in handling Negligence cases of varying complexities (5+ years desired)
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues
  • Must be licensed in DC, VA, and/or MD

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Bar admission in DC, VA, and/or MD

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
