A law firm in San Francisco is seeking an eDiscovery Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The successful candidate should have relevant industry affiliations and excellent counseling, writing, and hands-on litigation skills. Labor and employment experience is considered a plus.

 

Duties:

  • Conducting legal research on electronic discovery issues and case law.
  • Managing all aspects of the eDiscovery process, including data collection, processing, and production.
  • Collaborating with legal teams to develop and implement eDiscovery strategies.
  • Draft and file legal documents related to eDiscovery in court.
  • Providing guidance on best practices for preserving and collecting electronically stored information (ESI).

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the State Bar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery.
  • Strong understanding of electronic discovery rules and procedures.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard eDiscovery tools and software.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent counseling, writing, and hands-on litigation skills.
  • Knowledge of labor and employment law (preferred).
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
