Baltimore office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks defense litigation associate attorney with 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience. The candidate will independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end. Will work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects. Regularly handle court appearances and depositions. Communicate with clients and provide status reports. Should be admitted to practice in Maryland. Admission in Delaware and Virginia a plus. Experience with toxic tort, personal injury, commercial litigation, contract law, life sciences, or premise and products liability a plus. Legal project management experience is helpful.

The candidate should have a JD degree from an accredited law school. Must have superior communication, writing, and research skills.

This small branch of a large, full-service, national firm is very active in Maryland. Its practice areas include products liability, toxic torts, employment practices, and insurance law, among other things. Salary is adequate.
