Job Overview

A prominent law firm is seeking mid-level and senior-level Real Estate Associate Attorneys to join its dynamic and expanding practice in New York, NY. This opportunity is ideal for transactional attorneys with a strong background in real estate law, particularly in debt financing, equity structuring, acquisitions, dispositions, and development. Location

Duties

  • Advise clients on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures

  • Represent lenders and borrowers in mortgage and mezzanine financing transactions

  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including loan agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and joint venture documents

  • Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessment related to real estate assets and transactions

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel during all phases of deal execution

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on strategic client advisement and deal structuring

Requirements

  • Mid-level and senior-level experience practicing law in real estate or transactional areas

  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: real estate financing, joint ventures, acquisitions/dispositions, or development

  • Familiarity with real estate deal structuring, document negotiation, and closing processes

  • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously

  • Desire for professional growth and engagement in a collaborative, high-performance culture

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar
