A law firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Litigation Attorney with a proven track record of success in state and federal court proceedings. The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cases, including pre-trial preparation, court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trials.

 

Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of cases in state and federal court
  • Conduct pre-trial preparation, including legal research and drafting motions
  • Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and negotiations
  • Serve as first chair in jury trials and demonstrate a track record of winning cases
  • Handle a large and active caseload from filing through verdict
  • Maintain relationships with investigators, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and clients
  • Provide impeccable verbal and written communication to effectively manage relationships
  • Collaborate with colleagues and legal staff to achieve successful case outcomes

 

Requirements:

  • License in good standing to practice law in Florida
  • Proven track record of winning cases, including a minimum of 2 jury trials as first chair
  • Ability to handle a large and active caseload with efficiency and effectiveness
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • License to practice law in Florida
