A full-service law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 5 to 7 years of experience to join its Tampa, FL office. This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level associate with a background in financial services or securities litigation, who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. The firm values attorneys with strong research, writing, and analytical skills who can independently manage multiple complex projects.

Location:

  • Tampa, Florida

Duties:

  • Represent clients in financial services, securities, and other complex litigation matters

  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, memoranda, pleadings, and discovery responses

  • Manage litigation caseloads with autonomy and attention to detail

  • Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as required

  • Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on strategy and case development

  • Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of litigation experience

  • Background in financial services and securities litigation is preferred

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple matters independently and under deadlines

  • Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Florida Bar

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong time management and organizational capabilities

  • Proficient in litigation software and legal research tools

  • Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative settings
