Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Leasing Attorney to join its Real Estate Group in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years' experience in handling commercial leases, including office, industrial, and retail properties. Solar leasing experience is valued but not required.

Duties

  • Lead in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements.
  • Supervise less experienced leasing attorneys.
  • Interact with clients, opposing counsel, property managers, and brokers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial lease drafting and negotiation.
  • Experience with leases for office, retail, industrial, and life science properties.
  • Substantial experience representing landlords.

Education

  • JD

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand clients' business objectives.
  • Strong negotiating and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
