Job Overview:
A well-regarded boutique law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate with 2–4 years of transactional experience. This role offers significant client interaction, hands-on responsibility, and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in commercial real estate law and corporate transactional matters, with a focus on delivering results rather than meeting billable hour minimums.

Location:

Duties:

  • Assist in the negotiation and drafting of retail and commercial leases

  • Manage transactions involving the acquisition, disposition, and development of real estate properties

  • Conduct due diligence reviews and support financing transactions

  • Form and maintain entities related to real estate and development projects

  • Support senior attorneys and partners in complex commercial real estate deals

  • Foster and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in commercial real estate transactional work

  • Exposure to general corporate transactions such as contracts, due diligence, and financing

  • Ability to manage tasks independently and handle client-facing responsibilities

  • Strong desire to contribute to a small, dynamic team

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in applicable jurisdiction (to be confirmed based on location)

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing real estate contracts and leases

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, hands-on work environment
