Mid-Level Patent Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Conduct patent prosecution activities, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
• Manage patent portfolios and provide strategic advice on patent matters
• Conduct patent analysis and opinions of counsel
• Participate in inter partes reviews (IPRs) and other patent-related proceedings
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement patent strategies
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry trends in patent law
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
• 2+ years of prosecution experience at a firm or in-house
• Strong knowledge and experience in video processing and video codecs
• Familiarity with video coding standards
• Experience in virtual/augmented reality and AI (preferred)
• Graduate-level experience or advanced technical degree (preferred)
• Admission to the USPTO (preferred)
