Pre-Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Burbank, CA, is seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney who will be responsible for managing a docket of Pre-Litigation cases to resolution. The candidate will report directly to an assigned Senior Associate and will be supported substantively and administratively by a team of paralegals. Collaboration with Pre-Litigation staff is essential to achieve a high standard of excellence when serving clients. The candidate must also be comfortable providing guidance to non-attorneys as needed and fostering a positive workplace environment.

Duties:

• Manage a docket of Pre-Litigation cases to resolution
• Report directly to an assigned Senior Associate
• Collaborate with Pre-Litigation staff to ensure high client service standards
• Provide guidance to non-attorneys as necessary
• Foster a positive workplace environment
• Maintain excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Requirements:

• In good standing with the California State Bar
• Experience in Pre-Litigation cases preferred

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the California State Bar

Skills:

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team
• Leadership skills to guide non-attorneys as needed
