A law firm in San Diego is seeking an eDiscovery Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The Attorney will play a crucial role in the firm's legal processes, utilizing their expertise in electronic discovery to support litigation efforts. The ideal candidate should have relevant industry affiliations, excellent counseling, writing, and hands-on litigation skills, and labor and employment experience considered valuable assets.

 

Duties:

  • Conducting electronic discovery activities, including data collection, preservation, and analysis.
  • Collaborating with legal teams to develop effective eDiscovery strategies and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Managing and organizing large volumes of electronically stored information (ESI).
  • Overseeing the implementation and use of eDiscovery tools and technologies.
  • Providing legal counsel on eDiscovery matters, including data privacy and security issues.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Nevada.
  • 3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery within a legal setting.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to eDiscovery.
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery tools and software.

  • Excellent counseling and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on litigation experience.
