Associate Attorney needed for Freehold office

A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their Immigration Law practice in Freehold, NJ. The successful candidate will primarily handle court appearances, brief writing, motion drafting, client interviews, preparation, and USCIS appointments (including asylum interviews) and should preferably be bi-lingual in English/Spanish. The position requires a license to practice law in NJ and exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills. The ability to work effectively in teams, excellent time management, and organizational skills are essential.

Duties:

• Handle court appearances
• Write legal briefs
• Draft motions
• Conduct client interviews and preparation
• Attend USCIS appointments, including asylum interviews

Requirements:

• License to practice law in the state of NJ
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively in teams
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• License to practice law in the state of New Jersey
