Securities Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Securities Litigation Associate Attorney for their Menlo Park, CA office.

Job Overview:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in securities litigation matters.
• Assist in all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, such as complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client communications.

Duties:

• Represent clients in state and federal courts in securities litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research on securities laws, regulations, and case precedent.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• 3-5 years of experience practicing securities litigation.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
• Excellent writing and drafting skills.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
