Corporate Transactions Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated Corporate Transactions Associate with four to six years of experience to join its M&A and Corporate Finance practice in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will possess sophisticated law firm experience and a strong ability to manage client engagements.

Duties

• Engage in M&A, leveraged buyouts, corporate governance, and complex commercial transactions.
• Interact successfully with clients, investment bankers, and other advisors.
• Manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts within the firm.

Requirements

• Four to six years of relevant experience in a sophisticated law firm environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collegial, team-based practice.
• ESOP M&A experience or interest is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage client engagements effectively.
