Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience practicing personal injury law. The candidate will handle their own caseload from intake through resolution, with the opportunity to try cases as first or second chair, depending on experience.

Duties:

• Manage own caseload of personal injury cases, from intake through resolution.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, including complaints, answers, and motions.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Draft and oppose motions filed during the litigation process.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert depositions.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, and trials as necessary.
• Prepare clients for and represent them at mediations and settlement conferences.
• Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses to support case arguments.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, coworkers, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Manage all aspects of case load efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• In good standing with the California Bar Association.
• 5+ years of experience practicing personal injury law.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
