Job Overview:

A well-established law firm based in Morris Plains, NJ, is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven bilingual attorney to join its expanding immigration practice. The role offers the opportunity to contribute remotely to legal matters that significantly impact clients' lives, particularly in humanitarian immigration cases. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocacy, possess strong communication skills, and be fluent in both English and Spanish.

Duties:

• Provide legal services and strategic guidance on immigration matters, particularly VAWA and T Visa cases

• Draft, review, and file legal documents related to immigration proceedings

• Maintain consistent and empathetic communication with clients

• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure high-quality legal outcomes

• Stay updated on changes in immigration policy and adapt practices accordingly

• Maintain accurate case records in compliance with firm protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience managing immigration cases, including VAWA and T Visa petitions

• Active license to practice law within the United States

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Strong commitment to client service and legal excellence

• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive cases with empathy and discretion

• Reliable internet access and availability for remote collaboration

• Membership in the New Jersey Bar is considered a strong advantage

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Admission to at least one U.S. State Bar

• NJ Bar membership preferred
