Private Client Associate Attorney

Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a private client associate attorney with 5+ years of experience, preferably in a law firm setting, in estate and trust planning for high net-worth clients and the administration of complex estates and trusts, as well as in tax planning and business succession. The candidate must have a current membership in the Massachusetts Bar. Further admission to Rhode Island, Connecticut, and/or Florida is a strong plus.

The candidate must have excellent drafting skills and academic credentials, along with strong research, writing, and communication skills. A desire to play a key role in a sophisticated and growing trusts & estates practice is required.

This old Boston firm has remained a mid-sized regional player while other firms have elected to grow more dramatically in size. Approximately 1:1 partner-to-associate ratio keeps most of the lawyers here fairly busy in all of their full service practice areas, with a special emphasis on business litigation, soft IP, employment and real estate. This firm has changed its focus dramatically in the past several years and has elected to concentrate on more profitable business litigation. But the firm has a much more casual atmosphere than larger firms who do the same work.
