Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney to join their Health Transactions Practice Group in Indianapolis, IN; Raleigh, NC; Denver, CO; or Troy, MI. The successful candidate will work with leading health care organizations, providing legal counsel on complex transactions and strategic initiatives.

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel to large health systems, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.
  • Advise on mergers, asset transactions, joint ventures, and private equity transactions.
  • Manage due diligence processes and transaction timelines.
  • Develop business-focused legal strategies for clients.
  • Collaborate with a team to solve complex legal challenges.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar license or ability to become licensed in IN, NC, CO, or MI within one year.
  • 5-10 years of transactions experience, preferably in health care.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, including Stark and Anti-Kickback laws.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar license in good standing.
