Duties:

  • Counsel clients on various renewables projects, including facilities operations and power purchase agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and representation in litigation matters related to renewables projects.
  • Handle complex legal issues arising in the renewables industry, such as wind, solar, hydroelectric, fuel cell facilities, smart grid, energy storage, and energy efficiency.
  • Manage and lead litigation teams on renewables-related cases.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, including maintaining a portable book of business.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for hearings and trials.

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney.
  • Robust experience in renewables, particularly in facilities operations and power purchase agreements.
  • Portable book of business.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing of the Bar.
