Duties:

  • Representing debtors, secured creditors, official committees, and unsecured creditors in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
  • Assisting clients with complex workouts and restructurings, with a specific focus on the automotive and mobility industry.
  • Conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing legal counsel to clients.
  • Attending court hearings, mediations, and negotiations on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and case management.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission by motion.
  • 3-5 years of experience in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
  • Strong academic record and ranking in law school.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of bankruptcy laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Experience in the automotive and mobility industry restructuring is a significant asset.
