The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience and handle litigation matters, including employment law and healthcare law, on behalf of corporate and institutional clients, banks, insurance companies, and individuals.

Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters, including employment law and healthcare law
  • Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation strategy and risk management
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and preparation
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records and billing entries

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar
  • 3-8 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law and healthcare law
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar
