Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Associate to join its Corporate practice group in Charlotte, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of managing complex deal flow and at least six years of substantive experience in M&A and private equity work.

Duties

• Independently supervise junior associates.
• Oversee and execute due diligence workstreams.
• Prepare and negotiate ancillary documents.
• Draft and negotiate primary transaction documentation.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience in M&A and private equity.
• Strong business acumen and ability to apply business concepts.
• Eligibility for North Carolina Bar admission is preferred.

Education

• Law degree.

Certifications

• Eligibility for North Carolina Bar admission preferred.

Skills

• Ability to manage complex deal flow.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
