Attorney with 3-7 years of defense litigation experience

A law firm in Dallas is seeking an Attorney with 3-7 years of defense litigation experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel, representing clients in court proceedings, and managing various aspects of case preparation and litigation.

Duties:

• Regular communications with clients, fostering and maintaining relationships
• Advising on case status, arbitrations, and legal proceedings
• Responding to and preparing discovery materials
• Drafting legal analysis memorandums, briefs, and reports
• Conducting and defending depositions
• Responding to and preparing motions, engaging in motion practice
• Appearing before the Court for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and pretrial proceedings
• Preparing post-trial motions and appeals if necessary

Requirements:

• Texas license required
• Good standing active member of the State Bar of Texas
• 3-7 years of defense litigation experience preferred

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Texas
